Kangas Golf Giving Back To Our Heros
In Memory Of James Kangas (My Dad)
After my Father passed away in Jan '11. I wanted to start somthing in his name. He loved his family, friands country and the Marines and would sacrafice his time to help others. I reached out to the local Marines and explaned I would like to donate golf equipment to our injured solders in Memory of my Father.
1LT Joseph Caley contacted me and spoke to me about a foundation called Green to Green Foundation; www.green2greenfoundation.org. The Soldiers that attend their weekly golf clinics in Augusta GA really enjoy the benefits the game of golf has taught them. An adaptive golf program was started so fellow Soldiers could learn the game no matter of their experience level and injuries.
Kangas Golf is donating $800+. of New and used golf equipment to Green 2 Green.
